Plan of Salvation

Hear – One must hear the Word of God and understand it’s power to save. (Romans 10:17)

Believe – One must believe in the Bible and have faith in Jesus (John 8:24, Hebrews 11:6)

Repent – One must repent (turn from) their sins and not just pray the “sinner’s prayer”. The “sinner’s prayer” is not scriptural and one must obey the Bible. (Acts 17:30, Luke 13:3,5)

Confess – One must confess with his mouth that Jesus is the Christ with a sincere heart because the confession is for your salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

Baptism – One must be baptized (fully immersed in water) for the remission of sins. It is at this point one’s sins are forgiven and not before. (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16)

Live Faithfully – Once you are saved, you must continue in God’s Word and serve God faithfully until death. (1 Corinthians 15:58, Revelation 2:10)
